Yazaki Egypt Factory
The scale of Yazaki's Fayoum factory meant the distance between central plant equipment and the furthest production zones exceeded single-circuit piping limitations. Rather than force one oversized loop to cover the whole footprint, ERATEC split the load across independent, modular VRF circuits per floor and zone.

The Engineering Challenge
- The vast horizontal layout of the industrial facility created excessive distance between central plant equipment and peripheral operational areas, exceeding single-circuit manufacturer refrigerant piping limitations.
- Serving wide manufacturing zones from single oversized loops risked severe refrigerant pressure drops, suboptimal oil return, and capacity degradation at the farthest indoor units.
The Hitachi / ERATEC Solution
- Recommended and coordinated an optimized refrigerant piping design with the project consultant, dividing the required capacity across two independent, modular VRF circuits per floor/zone.
