Challenge & Solution
The Engineering Challenge
- Large dining halls and intense patron footfall generated extreme, concentrated internal sensible and latent heat loads.
- Standard VRF indoor units — cassettes and standard ducted units — were insufficient to deliver the volumetric airflow and fresh-air ventilation rates needed across open dining zones.
- The project required heavy-duty, continuous, uniform temperature control without cold drafts or hot spots during peak dining hours.
