Deep structural beams throughout the Aswan University Medical Center left minimal ceiling void for indoor units, while sensitive server and low-current rooms needed dedicated, uninterrupted climate control. ERATEC worked with the project consultant to select ultra-low-profile Hitachi ducted and cassette units that fit the shallow voids without compromising hospital-grade airflow.

The slim ducted and cassette configuration delivered 174 TR of hospital-grade cooling — including dedicated protection for critical low-current rooms — without altering the building's structural ceiling design.
